Most tips for finding termites also apply for carpenter ants. However, since carpenter ants don’t eat wood, so you may find bits of sawdust near their nests’ entry holes.
Mice and other wildlife are easily some of the biggest pests you may find. Although you might not always see them, you can easily see where they were. Tell-tale pellet-shaped droppings, gnawed wiring, and scratching noises are all clear signs of rodent infestations. Be sure to look behind appliances and inside cabinets and pantries when searching for these signs.
