Treat all areas of home to completely rid space of mice

A client called to report that he had found droppings, as well as mice, throughout his entire apartment. He said that other tenants in the building were reporting the same thing. If you live in an apartment and you are having this problem, you need to tell the landlord to treat all units in the building, not just the affected unit. Mice will merely leave for another “home” unless they are eradicated completely.

There are some measures you can take to try and reduce the chances that you’ll have a problem with mice. For example, they love dog food so be careful about leaving it out. If a dog grazes during the day and doesn’t eat a meal at once, mice could get the food and take it to where they stay. Also, if you like to leave your windows open at night to let in the breeze, make sure your screens are in tact and secure. Mice are very good climbers and can easily find their way through a torn screen. Fix any cracks in the walls or in your doorway to seal off those potential entry points.
